This is the 3rd edition of this series of meeting organized once every year around World Malaria Day. Hosted by the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Douala, and sponsored by various organisations.
During this event, experts in various disciplines (entomology, botany, chemistry, biochemistry, phytochemistry, parasitology etc.) meet, present papers, and discuss issues and trends pertaining to the control, the prevention and the treatment of malaria, with a focus on the vector control.
