Learn about the newly built brigantine powered by the BAE Systems HybriGen Power/Propulsion system, and built from FSC certified wood. Lunch and non alcoholic beverages, pre sail coffee reception, post sail tour of the Bay model and lecture on sea and Bay level rise are included in the ticket price.

Location and ParkingMatthew Turner is docked at the US Army Corps of Engineers Bay Model Visitor Center in Sausalito, CA. Access to the parking lot and pier is via Marinship Way. Free parking is available in the lot. Coffee mixer from 9-9:45am at Bay model center in community room. At 9:45, a crew member will meet you at the gate to escort you down the pier to the ship.Covid 19 Safety Protocol:

WeatherWe sail in most weather, including cold, wind, fog, and light showers. On occasion, we will need to reschedule a sail due to extreme wind or rain. You will be notified within at least 24 hours of the scheduled sail and we will work with you to reschedule or refund your order.TicketsA ticket is required for all passengers, including infants. Children 17 and under must be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult.CancellationYou may cancel or reschedule your sail with 24 hour advance notice. During the week, they provide educational programs to youth. Community Sails are a great way to share their mission with new people and to help lower costs for youth educational sails.
