DSG Office, 5960 Dearborn Street, Mission, Kansas, 66202, United States.

Teens will review jobs that are currently held by people with Down syndrome and learn more about how they prepared for the jobs they are in.  We will explore the world of work and how finding a job can be a job in itself. Whether the job you want is a volunteer position, part-time work, or a full-time career, job seeking requires lots of planning, organization, and dedication. In this session, we will be targeting the skills needed to kick-off a successful job search.  We will learn discuss the importance of networking like a pro and begin building our resumes.  This session will help teens prepare for our job fair and mock interviews on February 20th..

ens ages 12 to 18 with Down syndrome are welcome to join any STARS activity throughout the school year.  Visit www.kcdsg.org/STARS for more information.  Please note, all STARS events are a no-parent zone unless otherwise specified. You must register your teen first for each event. Space is limited.
