The presentation for the evening will be a look inside the different factors contributing to the current Champagne shortage. Specifically, how climate change and the worldwide supply chain challenges play a role in the perfect storm causing the lack of bubbles.
Kim Hoffman will give the presentation. Kim is Vinum 55’s Digital Marketing Specialist and Lead Wine Educator. She has been in the Food and Beverage industry for just over 20 years. Kim began her career as a pastry chef (was awarded Pastry Chef of the Year for the State of Utah by the American Culinary Federation in 2012), was a Chef Instructor in a degree-seeking Culinary Arts program for 7 years (Utah Valley University), has experience in gourmet food sales, and as a Culinary Editor. Kim is WSET Level 3 and a Level 1 Sommelier through The Court of Master Sommeliers, and she is looking forward to pursuing her WSET Diploma very soon!
