The Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) is a program of Washington Family Engagement. The PLTI is a free, 12- week, online course that teaches parents, community members and professionals working with families to understand systems and develop civic, leadership, and public speaking skills. As a graduation requirement, participants develop a community project to benefit their schools, neighborhoods and families. The course offers five college credits towards higher education.
You are applying to the Fall 2022 Parent Leadership Training Institute Online class in English. The course begins Saturday, September 17, 2022, and ends with graduation on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Virtual classes are held online via Zoom on Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. You are required to attend the first two classes on Saturday, September 17th, and Saturday, September 24th.
