Last year I celebrated Latinx Therapy’s launch with my family and friends, and this year I want to extend the invitation to our community that loves and supports us!

Culturally & socially, we are silenced and taught to not share our emotions, or problems that arise from within our homes. This event is intended to provide a space for healing, and provide education to break this cycle for our current & future generations.

Join us on May 18th for a groundbreaking live podcast event in the form of a mental health panel and party discussing cultural sensitivity and taboo topics from our cultural upbringings. We will have wellness activities in our beautiful space in Los Angeles for this event to celebrate our 1 year birthday, and your host's 29th birthday!

Our panel will consist of three mental health speakers from the Latinx Therapy network. Food & refreshments are included in your ticket.

Following the panel, we will have cake, live music, dancing, and Twisted for Sugar as dessert! 2 Destigmatizing T-Shirts will be raffled!

This event is for ages 16+.

Agenda:

3:00-4:00PM Meet & Greet with Adriana and Latinx Therapy Therapists

4:00-4:30 PM Early Dinner

4:30-5:30 Live Mental Health Podcast Panel

5:30-5:45 Interactive Meditation

5:45-7:00PM Cake, Raffle, Live Music & Dancing

Adriana Alejandra Alejandre, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practices in Porter Ranch, CA and specializes in homicide attempt survivors, mass shootings, assaults & crimes, dissociation, among other traumas using EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Adriana founded Latinx Therapy in 2018 after feeling frustrated because of the lack of relevant, bilingual mental health resources for her clients. She created the bilingual podcast and soon after began creating the directory & website that officially launched in November 2018. Since then, she has become a professional speaker and mentor for Latinx therapists looking to expand their clinical and entrepreneur skills. Latinx Therapy is a national bilingual resource providing mental health education through the podcast, social media, and community events. The website has resources for non-profit/low income counseling services, insurance-based, along with self-help books & apps. Latinx Therapy Directory members meet once a month to provide support and clinical consultation; Members also receive discounts to services that benefit their practices. We are proudly partnered with Dreamers Roadmap, Mental Health American & Therapist Development Center. For more info, visit the website.
