Beth FitzGibbon, aka Saja Noeri, is an unabashed fan of Star Wars, with the Galactic Starcruiser taking her fandom to a new level. From seeing Star Wars back in '77 to five voyages aboard the Halcyon, Beth continues to love the characters, stories, and experiences from a Galaxy Far Far Away. Currently retired, after a career working on brands like Xbox and Pokémon, she lives in Washington with her husband and their three pups. As chief maker at Saja Records, Beth makes items to celebrate the Galactic Starcruiser and the ship at the center of it all: the Halcyon.

About Beth FitzGibbon

Beth has been a secondary teacher since 2000. She vividly recalls seeing Return of the Jedi at a drive-in theater in 1983 but didn’t fully immerse herself in the Star Wars universe until she began dating her husband in 1996. Beth has enjoyed introducing her high school mythology students to A New Hope through the lens of the Monomyth. On the Halcyon, Beth took on the persona of Bet, the sheltered daughter of a Canto Bight casino owner. Bet stole one of her father’s Star Yachts and used her undetected access to his accounts to help those he had swindled. Naturally, those funds also allowed her to indulge in extravagant luxury aboard Chandrila Star Lines, where a minor accident became a forever transformative experience

"Brack designs, fabricates, and curates museum exhibits in Colorado. Star Wars has been an integral part of his creative life for 47 years, beginning as an imaginative 3-year-old and continuing into his second decade as an enthusiastic member of the 501st and Rebel Legions. He celebrated his passion with a record-setting run of wearing a different Star Wars shirt for 501 consecutive days without any repeats—a record he's currently attempting to break by extending it for over two consecutive years. Romance first brought Brack aboard the Halcyon after he fell in love with his rescuer, Bet, who responded to his distress signal during a Corellian Science Museum research assignment gone awry on the planet Ajan Kloss. Work brought him back to the Halcyon when a trip to Batuu to negotiate artifact loans from Dok-Ondar was interrupted by a stray loth-cat."

She did everything from follow the Saja around like a lost puppy, to following Raithe Kole around like a lost puppy, to just standing in the middle of the Atrium overwhelmed by all her choices. While not a fan fiction writer (anymore) she loves discussing and reading about character motivations and story elements she may have missed. With the nature of the Halcyon being that of a multiverse, that means that those stories are plentiful, with more combinations than an ordinary fandom might have.

Passengers on the May 4th voyages may remember Deadmarsh, the Chandrila Starlines engineer who received an unexpected trip on the Halcyon as a retirement gift. Upon her return to our universe, June Swords publicly lamented the lack of Halcyon bedding items available for sale. Other fans agreed. This inspired her to pivot her existing Etsy shop, SwordsandStitches, into a Halcyon focused soft goods emporium featuring quilts, bunk bags, and pillows. In addition, she creates items from across the Star Wars galaxy from her studio in Baltimore MD. She also hems pants.

Kim cruised on the Halcyon twice as a romance holonovelist looking for her next galactic bestseller. Instead, she was briefly employed as Lieutenant Croy’s secretary on her January 2023 cruise. She helped Ryloth and ate twice as much bubble waffle grilled cheese on her September 2023 cruise. Her curiosity about what happens next to her favorite characters inspired her to write Starcruiser fan fiction and meet fellow fic authors who feel the same way.

Louise has yet to meet a form of fiber arts that she won’t try. As a kid she learned to sew and knit from her grandma; two decades later the online crafting community helped her redevelop and expand those skills. Louise’s small shop, Crafted With Character, grew from a desire for a purse that stylishly showed her nerdy side; she now offers a variety of bespoke accessories and home decor. Louise believes that collecting craft supplies and making things are separate hobbies. Mike and Emily are Star Wars fans that love to bring Star Wars to life for fellow fans. Their journey to becoming makers started by trying to simply make costumes and props for themselves to join the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, and Mandalorian Mercs. They learned much as they tinkered in various aspects of cosplay and learned even more from their many mistakes in the process. After investing so much time, they wanted to give back to the amazing Star Wars community and help others by providing props that were not available to them or that were difficult to source or create. But one of their favorite things to do now is work with fellow Star Wars fans to create custom cast, 3D printed, sewn, programmed, engraved, and embroidered props!

        ----
Beth has been a secondary teacher since 2000.
        Brack Lee
        ----
"Brack designs, fabricates, and curates museum exhibits in Colorado.
        Jason Neurath
        ----
Jason manages the IT department at a doctor's office with 110 users. He has loved Star Wars for as long as he can remember. As a child, his grandmother made several costumes for him, and that passion continued with his first official Star Wars costume as Darth Maul in 1999. In 2005, Jason joined the 501st Legion as a Stormtrooper. Since then, he has traveled all over the world, mostly for Star Wars-related activities. When Jason boarded the Halcyon, he embraced the persona of Jordan, a lieutenant in the Canto Bight Police Department, on a mission to apprehend the fugitive Jaxxon, who had skipped town with unpaid debts. Armed with wanted posters, he scoured the Galactic Starcruiser, questioning crew and passengers in pursuit of his target.

There is no try.” Lightsaber training from Saja Kyr ingnited the spark to pursue lightsaber dueling further (thank you Saber Guild and YouTube!) and he's been diving into more of the Star Wars lore (canon and legends) to understand both sides of the Force. He hopes to pass on what he's learned at Halcy-Con and if you have any questions prior to, during or after the event, you can reach him at jayharperphd@yahoo.com.

She is a creative professional in the themed entertainment industry with a big imagination who loves talking to others about their process and inspirations. She was deeply inspired by the collaborative and improvisational nature of the Halcyon and hopes that through fan works we can all keep that spirit alive.

That same year, Evan joined Jedi Talk. Evan met his girlfriend Taylor in 2021, and they were lucky enough to experience the Galactic Starcruiser together three times. Their first voyage was the 8th voyage ever, and their last voyage was the anti-penultimate cruise. Evan's favorite era of Star Wars is the time of Disney's sequel trilogy. Evan is a FORMER Galaxy's Edge cast member. The Galactic Starcruiser has inspired Evan to pursue a career in immersive entertainment.

She devoured any and all Star Wars content: her favorites being the Rogue and Wraith Squadron books and the N64 game Shadows of the Empire. Not content with her small corner of the world and ready to seek out adventure, she went to college at Ohio State and found her husband Brian due to a Halo love connection. Since then they have lived in Austin TX, Kansas City MO and finally landed in Orlando FL so she could go to her beloved theme parks whenever she likes.

Tom and his wife now have a one-year-old youngling who is already being immersed in the world of Star Wars.
