Parents will stay onsite during the job fair and receive instruction on employment skills and options for adults with Down syndrome.
Join us for The Good Life Series: Time to Work! During this event, self-advocates (ages 12-23) will participate in a job fair and mock interviews. This provides teens and young adults the opportunity to explore job interests and practice skills necessary for interviewing. To maximize the experience, self-advocates should wear business attire. While self-advocates are participating, a session will be held for parents and caregivers to discuss employment options, volunteer opportunities, vocational providers, and services and supports.
