Join professional photographer Jason P. Odell for an epic adventure as we photograph England and Wales on a private tour. Throughout our tour, you will have the opportunity to capture breathtaking images of rolling hills, rugged coastlines, ancient castles, and picturesque villages. Jason will provide expert tips and guidance on travel photography, helping you to improve your skills and capture the essence of England and Wales in your photos. We will visit some of Wales' most iconic locations, including Snowdonia, Anglesey, and the charming town of Portmerion. From Wales, we'll stop overnight in Bath and explore the fairytale villages of the Cotswolds region. You will have plenty of time to explore each location and capture the perfect shot, while getting expert instruction and inspiration from Jason.

Activity Level: Mild to moderate
There will be walking tours over uneven ground, including cobblestones and stairs. You must be able to carry your gear for short to moderate distances during our tours. This tour is not advised for individuals with significant mobility challenges. Packing light is highly recommended!
Optional: Digital Infrared Photography Instruction
The lush countryside of Wales will offer unique opportunities for infrared photography. I’ll offer personalized instruction for infrared photography and processing for an instructional fee of $250 per person. Contact me if interested.
Tour Pricing (USD)
- $5799 per person (shared room with 1 king or double bed)
- Single supplement: $1100
- Companion discount: Non-photographer companions receive a $500 discount, but will not receive photography instruction beyond smartphone cameras.
To book: A $750 per person deposit reserves your seat until November 1, 2024. An interim payment of $1500 per traveler will be due Nov. 15, 2024.
The remaining balance will be due approximately 90 days before the event. Deposits are non-refundable unless the organizer cancels the event.
Itinerary (Subject to Change)
- Sunday, April 27, 2025: London | Arrive in London and transfer to our group hotel conveniently located near the University of London and the British Museum. Relax at the hotel, meet the group, and recover from your flight. We’ll go out for a traditional fish & chips dinner just a short walk from the hotel. Overnight in London.
- Monday, April 28: London | After breakfast at our hotel, we’ll go out for a morning photo walk in London. You’ll then have independent exploration time before our evening photo walk at the Tower Bridge for sunset and blue hour. Bring your tripod to capture amazing long exposure shots of the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge! Overnight in London.
- Tuesday, April 29: Liverpool & Conwy | We’ll make a short walk to the train station just minutes from our hotel and board a morning train to Liverpool. There, we’ll be greeted by our private driver and guide, and we’ll start with a Beatles tour of Liverpool, seeing the places that influenced the Fab Four. After our tour, we’ll continue to Wales and check in at our group hotel in the town of Conwy. We’ll be staying in the heart of town, just a short walk to Conwy Castle, where we’ll conduct our evening photo walk. Overnight in Conwy.
- Wednesday, April 30: Touring Anglesey, Wales | Our private driver will take us to the island of Anglesey, where we’ll see the impressive Beaumaris castle, Holyhead, and the Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural beauty. Overnight in Conwy.
- Thursday, May 1: Snowdonia and Portmerion, Wales | We’ll depart Conwy in the morning for the seaside town of Tenby. Along the way, we’ll tour through Snowdonia National Park and then make our way to Portmerion, one of the most charming “fairytale” towns in Wales. We’ll then continue to Tenby, where we’ll spend the next two nights.
- Friday, May 2: Tenby, Wales | Today we’ll explore the charming seaside town of Tenby. From our centrally located hotel, it’s just a short walk to Tenby Castle and other historic places. If the tides permit, we can make our way to the Napoleonic Fortress at St. Catherine’s island by crossing the beach! In the evening, we’ll set up to photograph Tenby Castle at sunset. Overnight in Tenby.
- Saturday, May 3: Bath, England | Today, we depart Tenby and make our way to the famous city of Bath, where be able to explore the Roman Baths and the historical areas of the city. Overnight in Bath.
- Sunday, May 4: The Cotswolds | Today, we’ll take a scenic drive to the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, including a stop at Castle Combe and the Village of Bibury, where the old stone architecture is beautiful for photography. Overnight in Bath.
- Monday, May 5: Stonehenge & More | Today, we’ll depart Bath en route to London. Along the way, we’ll stop at Stonehenge, the most famous neolithic monument in the world. After we explore Stonehenge, we’ll continue to Highclere Castle, the location of “Downton Abbey.” After exploring the castle grounds, we end our tour at a hotel at Heathrow Airport. Overnight in London (Heathrow).
- Tuesday, May 6: London Heathrow | You can take the airport shuttle from our hotel directly to Heathrow airport and make your way home or wherever your next destination lies!
