Join Playbill’s Social Selects and Broadway Up Close’s Tim Dolan For:
BROADWAY BAR CRAWL!
It’s like that place “where everybody knows your name”, but here, “everybody knows your story…”
The Experience:
Since Broadway began, theatre and food have always been intertwined. Clustered in and among our Broadway theaters are theatrical watering holes where deals are made over drinks, actors convene, and theatregoers dine. From gentleman-only theatre restaurants of the 1880s to the Lobster Palaces of the early 1900s to our beloved locations of today: “Green Team” Owner Tim will virtually explore the quirky, fascinating histories of some of Broadway’s most famous eateries through rarely seen photographs and stories. Fill your glass or two with your fav, sit back, and join us for our first-ever Broadway Bar Crawl!
Ticketing: $12.99

Instructor Bio:
Tim moved to the Big Apple shortly after graduating high school to pursue a career in the arts. On the small screen, Tim was featured on Season Two of HBO's Boardwalk Empire. Onstage, Tim was the Dance Captain in the Off-Broadway revival of Once Upon A Mattress starring Jackie Hoffman and John "Lypsinka" Epperson. He also performed as Abraham in the long-running hit musical Altar Boyz. His other acting credits include the National Tours of Altar Boyz and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes as well as numerous regional credits. He is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association. As an arts educator Tim was on faculty at Rosie's Theatre Kids, Rosie O'Donnell's arts organization for many years. Combining his storytelling skills as an actor, and his love for Broadway history, Tim created Broadway Up Close Walking Tours in 2010. Over the past decade the company has established six different tour experiences including an interior tour of Broadway’s oldest theatre, the Hudson. In 2019 he opened a freestanding gift shop in the middle of Times Square that offers custom, unique Broadway merchandise. And putting his love of Broadway marquees at the forefront, Tim created the BROADWAY sign that is quickly becoming a Times Square staple.
