The morning keynote speaker will be Dr. Christopher C. Wagner, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
His scholarship focuses on Motivational Interviewing and interpersonal processes in behavioral health and substance abuse treatment.
Professor Wagner is the lead author of the highly regarded text Motivational Interviewing in Groups (2012, Guilford Press).
The afternoon keynote speaker will be Dr. Carrie Wilkens, Ph.D., Co-Founder and Clinical Director of the Center for Motivation and Change, one of the country’s best-known modern treatment providers, with campuses in New York, Massachusetts and Washington DC.
Dr. Wilkens is co-author is Beyond Addiction: How Science and Kindness Help People Change (Scribner, 2014).
