Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, nonbinary, queer, intersex, and asexual faculty, staff, or administrators are invited to join the Sixth Annual Reach(OUT) LGBTQA+ Career Conference at Northeastern University in Boston, October 25-26, 2019, to engage with the topics and explore their own identities in the workplace. *Please note that this is not an opportunity to learn how to support LGBTQA+-identified students. The Sixth Annual Reach(OUT) LGBTQA+ Career Conference is open to all area lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, nonbinary, queer, intersex, and asexual students.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, nonbinary, queer, intersex, and asexual alumni are specially invited to join the Sixth Annual Reach(OUT) LGBTQA+ Career Conference at Northeastern University in Boston, October 25-26, 2019. You will have the opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, professional guest speakers, and current students through networking, conference sessions, and themed break out discussions focused on navigating professional spaces as LGBTQA+ people. Themed discussions will explore resumes and cover letters, professional dress, and attire, online presence and branding as well as other career and identity-focused topics. Alumni who are willing and interested in sharing about how they have navigated their LGBTQA+ and social identities in their careers are strongly encouraged to let us know by indicating that they would like to be a speaker or panelist.

This event focuses on the perspectives and concerns of queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, intersex, and asexual students in preparation for co-op, internships, and professional life beyond campus. Students will have the opportunity to hear from alumni and professionals in various industries about topics such as navigating microaggressions, corporate culture, gender presentation, etc. Additionally, students will engage with their peers on these topics and meet one-on-one with professionals to further discuss questions related to preparing for professional working environments.
