October 25th-28th, 2017, the School of the Scribe will host 13 Women pt2 Kingdom Reveal at the Apostolic and Prophetic Scribal Advance: Scribes and the Supernatural (www.scribaladvance.com). ABOUT SCRIBAL PROPHET L.A. Holts
Scribal Prophet L.A. was ordained in 2015 as a Pastor through the Christian National Church, in which she is in good standing and licensed to marry, bury, baptize, & christen. Scribal Prophet L.A. received her diploma in the Prophetic from the Gospel Truth Prophetic Institute and is currently entrusted with Kingdom Citizens Ministries, an online and creative arts traveling ministry. Prophet L.A. identifies herself as a Kingdom Citizen, Son of God or Believer and doesn't affiliate with a denomination or religion. Scribal Prophet L.A. Holts is no stranger to the creative world. She has kept busy in film, television and stage alike. L.A. has been seen in Five on The Black Hand Side; The Temple, both were performed on ETA’s main stage as Kenu in Chicago. The Temple was directed by The Goodman Theater’s own Chuck Smith. You may remember her as Stacey on the Emmy award winning Christian Soap Opera, The Awakening, which was produced by Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church in Chicago; To Sir, With Love II with Sidney Poitier; The Sound of Music as Sister Bertha; a cast member of the renowned Second City workshop; performed at Second City’s Sky Box & the Classic Theater at Columbia College Chicago; A History Lesson written and directed by Messiah Equiano, Shining Through the musical, where L.A. was the lead, written and directed by world renowned Tony Smalls; Imani and the Magic Drum, which opened at The South Shore Cultural Center, Decisions, which was off Broadway in New York where L.A. was lead. She can also be seen in national T-Mobile commercial "Home for the Holidays" in which L.A. was part of the core group of singers.
In addition to L.A.’s vigorous acting schedule, she ministers spoken word, has run a success clown company, sings Opera for special engagements, has co-owned a beauty magazine and is currently writing and directing for her production company Poet’s R People 2. L.A. has four published books: her novel, Trapped Inside, which can be purchased on Amazon.com, “13 Women”, (which is also available on Amazon.com), a book of poetry and monologues, Hell Chronicles; I’m Grown and Dance Me a Poem. L.A. is working on “13 Men” the book do to be published 2017. “Dance Me a Poem” the production, opened at the Dusable Museum to a sold out crowd. L.A.'s production of “13 Women”, went up at the Dusable Museum and sold out as well on its first run. “13 Men” went up and ministered to many wounded men. L.A.’s new play “Doors”, has been a hit and will have it’s second run in the fall. L.A. is looking forward to her production of “13 Women” the movie, in which she is production and is due to come out in late 2017. She also desires to make “13 Men” into a television series and “Doors”, a suspense thriller. L.A. is currently teaching virtual creative writing, poetry and theater production classes. Her next assignment is 4 Beautiful Women Kingdom Conferences, which will encourage women in the areas of prophetic dance, health/wellness, confidence, and creative ministry of theater and spoken word.
Some of L.A.'s other professional experiences include special effects makeup for film, stage and television, sound design, stage combat choreographer, original Sand Creation art which has been displayed in an art gallery downtown Chicago, and ETA theaters gift shop; lastly, her new endeavor, photography.
