About the Event

We’re pleased to announce that Midsummer Music sponsored by Strutt & Parker and Christie’s International Real Estate will be returning this year, welcoming The Outcry Ensemble 32-piece orchestra to the stunning 19th Century neo-gothic St Mary Abbots Church in the heart of Kensington.

More than 500 guests will be welcomed with a drinks and canapés reception before taking in an evening of Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with first violin Oscar Perks. The performance will be led by James Henshaw (English National Opera, Garsington Opera, BBC Proms), founder and conductor of The Outcry Ensemble.

6:30pm: drinks and canapes reception

7:30pm: performance

9:00pm: evening ends

About the Organizer

The Rugby Portobello Trust is a children's and youth charity that has been supporting the North Kensington community for 134 years. In the last 12 months, RPT has worked with more than 2,000 people. RPT is currently more than 90% funded by donations, small grants and fundraising events, which give RPT the flexibility to offer targeted funding to individual projects, as well as fund pilot programmes and fill gaps where statutory and grant funding are not available. Today, it costs £1.1 million to fund all of our services for one year.
