The release of the ISO 9001:2015 standard in October 2015, required that organizations reflect on how quality aligned with their way of conducting business. The new changes, including the emphasis on aligning quality with strategic goals and risk based thinking, have required companies, auditors, and consultants to modify their approach to Quality Management to adhere to these new requirements. The panel was put together to provide insight into various viewpoints so that attendees are able to fully understand the implementation process. The discussion will include perspective from both small and large organizations transitioning to the ISO 9001:2015 standard as well as external audit representation; topics will come from personal experiences with the changes including opportunities and challenges experienced during the transition. All attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Q&A. We ask you to submit questions and topics of interest beforehand so that we can all learn together about what the changes mean for an organization and individuals responsible for preparing for certification.
