Submission deadline: March, 16th 2021
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 15th MARCH 2021
We are pleased to invite abstract submissions of 250 words for presentation of your work at the 5th European Aniridia Conference. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions regarding abstract submission.
POSTERS: We welcome submissions of aniridia-related research from all disciplines to be considered for poster presentations. Work that is only indirectly related to aniridia may also be considered if it is particularly of interest to this audience. The categories given below are for guidance only. Posters will be published in electronic (pdf) format. A short oral presentation may be possible too. Please also submit a head and shoulder photo of yourself if you are happy for it to appear in the conference booklet.
CONFIRMED SPEAKERS: Please use this submission process to submit an abstract, photo and brief speaker bio (50-200 words as a guide) for your talk if you haven't already done so.
ECR RAPID FIRE PRESENTATIONS SESSION: We would like to invite all Early Career Researchers (broadly defined to include Masters and PhD students, Postdocs and Clinical Trainees) to submit their abstracts to the "ECR Rapid Fire Presentations Session" (3 min presentation + 2 min questions). The best presentation will be awarded a prize of £100 kindly donated by Dr Veronica van Heyningen. Runner-up abstracts will be invited to present a poster.
Abstracts from ECRs from traditionally underrepresented European countries are especially welcome (Armenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey).
