The number 1 Zander competition in the country is back for 2026! This will be our 5th edition of the Boat and Kayak events and we cannot wait!!
The catch and release lure competition consist of 50 Boat Teams of 2 and 30 Kayaks all competing to be crowned Champions in their respective fields.
130 anglers compete over the two days to fill their card of 6 Zander the combined total of which will determine their place on the leaderboard. Anglers are permitted to upgrade their fish throughout the two days making for a very exciting competition!
A minimum of two Marshal boats will be out for the duration of the competition. ALL boats and kayaks will be checked by a Marshal prior to launch. Any infringement on the rules will not be tolerated.
Spot Prizes will be awarded throughout the weekend for various categories as well as a trophy and prize for the angler who manages to catch the longest Zander!! We are lucky enough to have some of the best sponsors in the industry and are very happy to announce that we will be awarding prizes to the top 10 in the boat event and the top 5 in the kayak event!!
This is a fantastic social event giving competitors the chance to catch up with friends old and new around battling it out on the water. Breakfast for every angler is supplied on both competition mornings and catering supplied on the Saturday evening along with our first ever "Casting Competition" there is no charge to enter and it's sure to be one of the highlights of the weekend!! Winner will receive a sponsor prize and bragging rights!!! Brush up on your casting skills!!
Results are announced and trophies/prizes awarded at the presentation on the Sunday evening following score verification. And of-course not forgetting our charity raffle, with the winner also announced at the presentation.

Event Terms & Conditions
- The organisers, Zandermania, will have absolute control and discretion over the competition, rules and terms and conditions.
- The organisers reserve the right to modify all or part of the rules and T&Cs at any time.
- Zandermania rules abide by and include all relevant local rules.
- All competitors understand that they must provide organisers with all required documents & EA License as a condition of entry in the event.
- All competitors will be required to sign a registration form and event disclaimer to confirm acceptance of the full and final event rules and terms & conditions.
- Competition rules also include the terms & conditions. All offences will be reported to the organisers and dealt with in accordance with their seriousness and may lead to disqualification.
- Organisers will use competitor’s image at their sole discretion on any support material they deem appropriate at any the time from acceptance of entry in the event.
- English is the official language of Zandermania.
- Official time format is 24 hours and all times mentioned are local times
- Official measurement is centimetres (cm)
- If for any reason you can no longer attend the event, refunds are at organiser discretion and will depend upon circumstances and the ability to re-sell your ticket, deposits are non-refundable.
- Should the event need to be postponed by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather conditions, your place will be held and moved to the revised date to be arranged within a 12-month period of the existing event. No refunds will be given unless due to exceptional circumstances and agreed by the event organisers. If the event is not run within 12 months of the original date a full refund will be issued.
