WSA Head Start/ECEAP Parent Leadership Institute 2026

I grew up in California and completed my undergraduate studies at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Child Development and minors in psychology and oddly enough, religious studies! During my time in college I worked as a Preschool Teacher and as an Bilingual Adminstrative Specialist at a nonprofit community counseling center. 

Soon after I graduated I moved to Seattle to complete my Master’s in Education Policy. I always knew I wanted to be involved in early learning spaces, but still felt a little lost so I participated in the Pathwaves WA Fellowship program for leaders of color entering the early learning field in WA. 

Through my fellowship I got matched with WSA and got hired on after my fellowship.

I am a strong believer in the power of parents and teachers and my passion comes directly from the communities I get the privledge to share space with.

Devin works passionately to develop and deliver transformative experiences for every project and event he's involved in. As a former banker and financial advisor, he brings a wealth of knowledge and uses his energetic delivery style to inspire, inform and motivate people to take action that supports their own best financial interests.

Also committed to helping increase the financial well-being of disadvantaged people, Devin works as an organizational trainer delivering Financial, Career and Life Coaching training to social service and government agency front line staff across the United States and Canada.

An active member of the Financial Empowerment Network and the Washington Financial Education Providers Network, Devin volunteers at many public events to bring financial literacy to communities in the state of Washington.

To fulfill his personal life mission, Devin spends time working on the Inspiration to Prosper Initiative, an effort to partner with faith-based organizations to raise awareness and increase financial capability among their membership and related individuals and families.

As a young girl in Nebraska who loved to read, Becca dreamt of using her voice to tell stories. While earning a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, her focus on impact journalism turned her childhood dream into a desire to directly fuel change. After moving to Washington to work for a children’s nonprofit and earn her Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington, she developed a deep commitment to protecting and uplifting young people. Becca now serves as Mobilization Manager at Children’s Alliance and is excited to empower community members furthest removed from opportunity to use their voices to advocate for Washington’s children and youth.

Tiesha Clark is a trusted partner to leaders and organizations navigating the intersection of strategy, engagement, and transformation. As founder of Right Standing Consulting Solutions, she equips government agencies, nonprofits, and schools with tools and processes to deepen community partnerships, elevate family and community voice, and design gatherings that move people from dialogue to action.

Her organizational services include leadership development, facilitation coaching, strategic community engagement, and agenda design support. She specializes in street-data approaches that elevate lived experiences and translate them into actionable insights, helping organizations design more responsive and sustainable strategies.

Tiesha also leads transformational work with women looking to align their faith, purpose and performance  through her faith-aligned executive coaching, and REST Retreat, creating spaces for reflection, renewal, and clarity. Whether in a boardroom, community circle, or retreat setting, her work is marked by a restorative presence, practical strategies, and a commitment to helping people align their deepest values with the impact they want to make.
