Wednesday, August 24th, 3:00 - 5:00 pm ET We invite you to join us for an interactive workshop, Methods for Effective Goals of Care Family Meetings Methods for Effective Goals of Care Family Meetings In this session, learners will actively engage in communication role play and learn skills pertinent to end-of-life conversations. Learners will also review the components of holding and supporting a family meeting addressing end-of-life goals of care decisions. Learning Objectives: 1. Improve ability to integrate prognostic assessment for end of life when planning family meetings. 2. Demonstrate expert communication skills in difficult end-of-life conversations. 3. Develop a family-centered plan of care.
