The Women in Football Leadership Programme helps women working in football to develop and enhance the leadership skills they need to thrive in their careers. The course is taught over four days and is structured as a journey – starting with leading self, then leading others and looking at future plans.
Learning Outcomes:
- Get an understanding of what makes a great leader
- Detailed work on the self and the skills leaders need: confidence, negotiation skills, effective conflict management, influencing, framing and telling your story
- Build your personal leadership toolkit
- Effective communication, connection and building your network
- Becoming board ready
All delegates will have the option to continue to take part in group coaching after the course.
The leadership programme is divided into levels. We will be offering the following opportunities:
- Levels 1 and 2
- Levels 3 and 4
Criteria, requirements and learning outcomes for the courses are described below and in the following page.
Who: Level 1 and 2 are for every woman at any level in their career with an interest in leadership. Level 3 and 4 are for women with a minimum of 4-5 years of work experience and experience of being a leader or managing people.
