Winter Directors' Meeting

The WSTC Winter Directors Meeting for Head Start and ECEAP directors and senior staff is coming soon! We will be gathering again at the Hotel Interurban in Tukwila on Monday, November 18th, and Tuesday, November 19th. The Monday meeting will be from 9am-5pm, and the Tuesday meeting will be from 9am-4pm. Tickets will be available for one day or both.

-Updates from Joel Ryan, Executive Director of the Washington State Association of Head Start and ECEAP, and from the Department of Children, Youth, and Families.

-Cleo Rodriguez, Executive Director of the Migrant Seasonal Head Start Association will be speaking about the public charge and immigrant rights issues in the United States.

-Representative Tana Senn and Senator Claire Wilson will be joining us to discuss early learning priorities for the state legislative session. 

-Melissa Johnson, the Washington State Association of Head Start and ECEAP's contract lobbyist, will be joining us as well.

-Steve Patty, Ph.D. from Dialogues in Action will be providing a framework for how Head Start and ECEAP programs can put together an effective and impactful self-evaluation.
