Halton, St Helens & Knowsley: Whiston Hospital Webinar - National Smoking Cessation Service
The Hospital Trusts in our locality will be starting to refer patients from early February (Warrington and Halton) / April 2024 (Whiston and St Helens).
It is extremely important that when the hospitals go live, referrals on PharmOutcomes are picked up and the pharmacy is in a position to offer the service to the patient.
The LPC will be hosting a webinar to support the Whiston Hospital service launch.
Please note that the date of this webinar has now changed to 5th March 7.30pm – 8.30pm (from 27th February due to the Pharmacy First PharmOutcomes webinar running on the 28th February).
The webinar will cover:
- an update on the National Smoking Service
- outline the referral process that will be followed by the Mersey and West Lancashire Hospitals Trust (Whiston)
- recording of service data via PharmOutcomes
- the webinar will also offer the opportunity to raise questions with regarding the service
