Virtual Best Ride: Customer Service and Passenger Assistance

Virtual Best Ride includes Communication, Customer Service, Conflict Resolution, Understanding the Needs of your Riders, People First Language, Assisting Riders with Mobility Differences and the Americans with Disabilities Act. 

Virtual Best Ride offers two options:  With Securement and Without Securement, and is a 4 hour virtual class.

For drivers needing wheelchair securement certification 

Virtual Best Ride with securement requires completing 3 steps:

1) Completion of Virtual Best Ride (instructor lead) zoom course

2) Completion of Ride Connection Wheelchair Securement on DigitalChalk

3) Ride Connection securement evaluation - Upon completion of Ride Connection Wheelchair Securement on DigitalChalk, contact training@rideconnection.org to schedule a securement evaluation to demonstrate proficiency. 

Please request any needed additional training or coaching needs in this email as well. 

Please note that replacing/substituting drivers must be completed by 5:00pm the day before class is held. Please e-mail: training@rideconnection.org to make this change. E-mails should include the name of the driver currently registered, the name of the driver who will be attending in their place, the date of class and the name of your organization.
