For drivers who need securement training, we will be making use of the National Rural Transit Assistance Project’s (National RTAP) Wheelchair Securement and Lift Training course for the securement portion of our class. This will need to be registered for separately, and every few days training staff will be creating accounts with National RTAP so drivers can access the course. Once an account is created, the driver will be contacted via e-mail by National RTAP with directions.We will be completing in-person review and testing for securement once social distancing restrictions are lifted. If a driver needs securement training ASAP, please contact: training@rideconnection.org to set up a time.
