Virginia Tea Party (VATP) is a statewide tea party federation of local, non-partisan patriot groups established to advance and strengthen the Founding principles and God-given rights predicated in the U.S. and Virginia Constitutions. Our mission is to encourage and facilitate citizen participation in the political process and empower all citizens with a voice and influence in demanding Constitutional governance. VATP will help local, independent tea party/patriot groups grow in numbers and influence and nurture communication and collaboration among Virginia tea party and patriot groups.
Ned Ryun is a grassroots and conservative activism expert. He is the founder and CEO of American Majority, a non-partisan political training institute whose mission is to identify and mold the next wave of liberty-minded candidates, grassroots activists and community leaders.
Nick has served as Executive Director of the Colorado chapter of American Majority since April 2016. Nick specializes in social media training as well as GOTV mobilization.
Trevor Loudon is an author, filmmaker and public speaker from Christchurch, New Zealand. For more than 30 years, he has researched radical left, Marxist and terrorist movements and their covert influence on mainstream politics.
As Director of Policy, Patrick Hedger manages the Regulatory Action Center at the FreedomWorks Foundation. Patrick previously worked at FreedomWorks from 2012 to 2014 as a policy analyst. Before re-joining FreedomWorks, Patrick served as Policy Director of the group American Encore and as a senior policy analyst at the Charles Koch Institute. In these previous roles, Patrick produced research and analysis on domestic economic policy across a wide range of areas.
Amy Oliver Cooke is the Executive Vice President and Director of the Energy and Environmental Policy Center for the Independence Institute, Colorado’s free market, state-based think tank. She has worked in both policy and operations since 2004. Amy is also a senior fellow with the influential Independent Women’s Forum, a free market think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C.
Tracy Kimball Smith is a visual designer with II Creative Lab. Tracy studied art at Colorado State University and Metropolitan State University, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis on Graphic Design from Metro. Through II Creative Lab, Tracy finds creative ways to present complicated research and policies in ways that are engaging and reach a wide audience.
Ken Peterson currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for Goochland County Virginia's 5th district.
