The Exercise Science program, housed in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) at the University of Cincinnati, prepares students for careers in fields such as strength and conditioning, fitness center management, wellness programming, cardiac rehabilitation and clinical exercise physiology, personal training, entrepreneurship, and more. Many students also go on to pursue graduate research or clinical pathways. The program offers a B.S. in Exercise Science, a M.S. in Health & Wellness Management, certificates in Sport Coaching and Yoga Studies, and anticipates the launch of a new M.S. in Exercise and Sport Science (expected Fall 2025 start). The program is affiliated with the registered student organization, Bearcats Exercise Science Alliance (BESA) that raises funds for professional development events, traveling to conferences, and more.
