TWIG Foundation 22nd Annual Invitational Golf Tournament

Established in 1997, Triangle Women in Golf (TWIG) promotes golf awareness and play among professional, civic-minded African-American female golfers in North Carolina’s Triangle area. TWIG created TWIG KIDZ in 2003 to introduce African-American girls, ages 6 to 18, to golf and its valuable life lessons, including honesty, self-discipline, confidence, perseverance and critical thinking. Established in 2017, the TWIG Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under IRC Section 501(c)(3). TWIG has successfully mentored and supported over 147 young ladies for the last 22 years, exposing them to role models; funding over 450 series of golf lessons; hosting tournaments and teaching etiquette. TWIG Kidz participants develop skills that prepare them to compete on high school golf teams and potentially earn collegiate golf scholarships. The 2024 TWIG Invitational Golf Tournament raised over $22,000! Your sponsorship will directly impact TWIG KIDZ and sponsor the girls’ expenses and assist TWIG with program expansion (e.g., golf equipment, personal development, and advanced golf camps).
