TRINITY HEALTH OF NEW ENGLAND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SESSION
The Leadership Development & Culture Change team is offering the following Leadership Development session on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, 9am – 10:30am at Saint Mary’s Hospital, 56 Franklin Street, Conf. Room GO 2A & 2B in Waterbury, CT
Perception versus Intent: The Silent Language of Leaders
Have you ever had the experience where you thought your message was clear later to find that the interpretation was completely different? Leaders communicate lots of messages non-verbally through gestures, posture, body movement, eye contact and tone of voice. Leaders are always “on-stage” and are looked up to so everything that is said or not said becomes someone’s truth. As leaders, we need to be sure that the intent of our messages are received accurately. One of the key drivers in our Colleague Engagement survey indicate that 15% of our colleagues lack confidence in senior management leadership. Is that because of our communication and perception of our intent? Join us for this session on looking into how our body language can help or hurt our communication and leadership style.
Registration deadline is February 26, 2018.
Thank you and we look forward to working with you during these session offerings.
