You’ll hear us up and down York Road when The Maples presents the Helmut Licht Big Band in a hoppin’ outdoor dance party! The Licht Band plays all the great Big Band standards, but they really get the crowd going with their renditions of dance music from around the globe: The Chacha, Mambo, Rumba from Cuba; The Merengue from the Dominican Republic; The Samba from Brazil; The Tango from Argentina; and the Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep and Polka from Europe.
