We are excited to announce the first annual Tim Ewell Memorial Golf Tournament, celebrating the life of our beloved friend and family member, Tim Ewell. This inaugural event will be held Thursday, July 11th at Honey Bee Golf Course in Virginia Beach – shotgun start at 10:00am.
Tim loved adventure and being outdoors. Each year one of his favorite things to do was support local companies and causes by playing in golf tournaments with friends. We would always joke that the golf was never great, but the fun was at an all time high. His big boisterous laugh was always on display, and that huge smile that turned strangers into friends. That’s why we think this tournament is the perfect way to honor our good friend.
That said, the one thing Tim certainly loved more than anything else was his wife, kids, and family. They were his greatest treasure. And for that reason all donations and sponsorships for the event will directly go to the Tim Ewell Memorial. The Tim Ewell Memorial has been created to provide scholarships for Tim's children and/or to donate to another charitable cause in Tim's honor.
The Tim Ewell Memorial is an official 501c3 organization, so all donations and corporate sponsorships may be tax deductible (consult your CPA or Tax Adviser); so please consider contributing or providing a donation, even if you decide not to play in the actual golf tournament.
