One of our fellow Mom Walk participants is a board-certified music therapist and Executive Director of Sound Inspirations, LLC. Her private practice offers a weekly summer music enrichment program for families with children ages 0-5 years old.
We are collaborating with her for a music class! She is offering us a deeply discounted rate for a class on Wednesday June 5th at 4:30pm within the Kirtland Community Center.
This class is led by Ms. Madeleine, a board-certified music therapist since 2018 who is passionate about working with young children in hands-on music making. She is intentional and flexible with the music she presents, tailoring each class to the participants in the moment. Age-appropriate and thoughtfully sourced instrument kits are available to borrow for use in class, and purchase is optional.
You'll notice many developmental opportunities for child(ren)'s attention, body awareness and coordination, self-expression, and socialization through shared positive experiences. You are welcome to bring another adult and up to 3 children as a "family."
Join us a spacious, kid-friendly, carpeted and comfortably temperature-controlled room within the Kirtland Community Center. It is stroller accessible, acoustically pleasing, and there are indoor bathrooms available before and after class.
