We're heading over to the Penitentiary Glen Nature Play Area!
It's a fenced in, one entrance-one exit space for children to play and it's amazing! Be prepared for sand, water, and potentially mud play. I pack extra clothes in the diaper bag, and another set in the car just in case! Wet/dry bags or garbage bags are great to put dirty clothes in. And don't forget a towel or two. When you get home just chuck the contents of the bag into the washer and you're on your way!
If you've never been, just so you're aware - there is a small pond in the middle of the play area. Children are not allowed in the pond, but please use caution and keep your eyes on your kids at all times so they don't go in.
