JOIN US for a playdate at the river!
This is what slow summer days are made for. Snacks, sand, water... ahhh.
Meet us under the bridge down by the river for this summer staple playdate.
Whenever I bring my boys I bring a blanket to sit on, towels, toys, ALL the snacks, and diaper wipes (they get sand off little hands and feet really well before getting back in the car).
This usually goes unsaid whenever we're together, but I think it's very important here - as moms at a water based playdate WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME TEAM. That means we're going to help each other out by keeping an eye out for all the children. If you see a little one putting rocks in their mouth, please help them remove it. If you see older kids splashing or playing too rough near younger kids, speak up and say something. I would want someone to do that for my kids if for some reason I don't catch it, and I would do it for yours out of love and respect for you, mama! Things can happen in the blink on an eye near water, so the more eyes we have on the kids, the better!
