Not only are we going to walk + play, as per usual!, but we are also going to support The Community Baby Shower!
We all remember our baby showers, especially for our first borns! How lucky and blessed we were to have so many people care so much about us and our babies! Unfortunately, not everyone has that. Not every family can fill in the gaps from their registeries, if they even have one. That's where The Community Baby Shower comes in.
The goal of the Community Baby Shower is to celebrate families and equip them with essential baby items like diapers, wipes, safe sleeping surfaces, car seats, clothing, and feeding items for a safe and healthy start.
We are going to donate SOOOO much to make this one of the biggest drop offs they've had yet.
Meet us near the train at Pen Glen to start. You can drop off your items at the start or after we walk, which ever is easiest for you! Shauna Rich from TCBS will be there to share information and accept your donations. We'll do the storybook loop, as it's a fave for the kids, and then come back to the train for anyone who needs to drop off items. Then we'll head over to the Nature Play area and let the kids loose!
