JOIN US Monday, March 10th at Penitentiary Glen for a walk and optional playdate afterwards. Meet us by the play train off to the side. From there we will walk the storybook walk together.
This is a paved trail, so perfect for strollers and wagons! If you have older kids, they do not have to be in a stroller/wagon, they can walk with you; or bring a scooter or a bike if there isn't too much snow on the trail! If you'd rather come alone, that's cool, too. Whatever will serve you best is ok with me!
Our sponsor for this walk is Shauna Rich from Mother Rising. Shauna such a wealth of knowledge for moms (and families) all the way from preconception to having teenagers. I also find her voice quite calming, so it's always nice to listen to her talk! She will be speaking briefly about Mother Rising and explaining the services she offers as we walk.
I usually attach a playdate to the end of each walk, simply because my kids can only sit still for so long and need to run their energy off after sitting, listening, and behaving well! The nature play area is right off the parking lot so if you're interested in playing a bit after the walk with us that'd be great! If you need to get going after the walk, no biggie, maybe the kids will play together next time!
