“Boozhoo, I’m Kym, Lake Superior Band of Chippewa. I’m a licensed pharmacist trained and certified in endocrinology, hormone balance and restoration, health coaching, functional and personalized medicine. I’m a clinician, functional lifestyle-coach and competitive athlete, but more importantly I am your PARTNER on your wellness journey. I whole-heartedly walk the walk and talk the talk. My personal experiences struggling with Endometriosis for several years and losing my colon at age 23 led me down the path of root cause medicine. I learned to embrace the medical traumas I endured and turned them into fuel to educate, empower and help others heal. Born to indigenous roots I believe whole body wellness begins with getting back to the ways of how my Anishinaabe ancestors lived by connecting with nature on a consistent basis and utilizing resources and whole foods provided from the land. Yes, we can look at physical labs and data, replacing deficiencies, eliminating toxicities, etc., but I also invite my clients to go beyond the labs and get in sync with the signs their body gives them. Together we will address the mind, body and spirit as one to restore harmony within. The work I do is completely customized for the individual, as we are each a unique blend of our own personal experiences and stories which have shaped the landscape and environment within our bodies.
