It's The Mom Walk Collective - Denver's first family walk! We're making it special by including the mom walk family's sister chapters. Denver Ambassador Tanu and Trading for Trails are partnering in a picturesque stroller friendly walk along the Clear Creek Canyon Trail in Golden. If you're interested trying out hiking gear for your little adventurers or have some to donate, Trading for Trails has you covered with their FREE used gear pantry. We're also thrilled to announce that Family Chiropractor, Dr. Savannah from Jade Wellness, will be sponsoring us and gifting attendees with special goodie bags. About the Trail:
This is a kid/family friendly hike that explores the newest segment of the Peaks to Plains trail system in Clear Creek Canyon (opened in 2021), while honoring the area’s mining history.
Everyone loves a loop trail, right? We’ll make our own by starting along the trail that runs parallel to the north-side of Clear Creek from the parking lot. We'll traverse a couple beautiful bridges to create a loop trail. We will stick to the10-foot-wide trail that’s ADA and stroller accessible, though some may opt to check out Welch Ditch Trail and the pedestrian-only bridge that require a few stairs.
We will meet at the Gateway Trailhead parking lot.
Meet-up Time: 10 AM
Distance: 1.5-2 miles, with minimal elevation gain

Directions: Click Here. From Denver take I-70 W and 58 West to Golden. At the intersection of 58 and 93, head west into Clear Creek Canyon. Drive for about a half mile, until you spot “Gateway Trailhead”. Turn left into the parking lot.
We will meet near the restrooms located at the trailhead/parking lot.
Parking: Parking is free, and there are ample amounts of spaces. However, please plan accordingly since Saturday morning may prove busy. Restroom facilities on site.
Essentials for this event: plenty of water, backpack, sun protection, snack, bug spray, and proper foot attire. You may also consider a light jacket depending on the weather forecast. A stroller/carrier for your little one will work on this trail as well.
