Event Details

-Saturday, January 24th, 2026 @ 4:00pm. Festivities will begin promptly so please make arrangements to arrive early so we can begin on time. Players 11-14 will participate in the play-in tournament to determine positions 11 & 12 in the Heads Up Contest.

-$35 Buy In. Cash only. No Rebuys or Add Ons. ($30 will go towards the Main Pot, while $5 will be used for a player's bounty chip in the Main Event)

Roster

-The top 14 points earners are invited to the Boomerang Nebula William H. Macy Hyperborean Memorial Tournament. The BNWHMHMT will begin with a Heads Up Contest and conclude with the Main Event. This event is invite only, no walk-ins allowed. 

-If a player is unable to attend, the next highest ranked player will be invited to join.

Heads Up Contest

-Texas Hold'em

-2500 chips

-12 players. Players ranked 1-10 are automatically entered into the Heads Up Contest. Players ranked 11-14 will participate in a Play-in game to determine who will go play as 11th & 12th in the Heads Up Contest. The Top 4 ranked players will receive a bye in the first round. 

-The Heads Up Contest will utilize The Cooler default Tournament Blinds structure (minus the antes) with blinds beginning at 25/50 and ten minute rounds.

-No rebuys or add-ons

Main Event

-Texas Hold'em

-3000 chips

-14 players (Points Champion and Heads up Winner receive a free entry into the BNWHMHMT)

-Each player will be given a $5 Bounty chip. Upon elimination, each player will surrender their initial bounty chip. Any acquired bounty chips can be redeemed upon elimination. 

-The Final Tournament will utilize The Cooler default Tournament structure. 

-7 players at each table, combining after participants are reduced to 10.

-No rebuys or add-ons

Participation & Confirmation

Once the rankings have been established, players will be asked to RSVP directly with Eventzilla. Once registered, you will receive an email confirmation and your name will be added to BMWHMMT roster. If your name does not appear on the list, you have not been officially registered. This event is invite only, no walk-ins. Before arrival, please check the event's Roster indicating that you have been confirmed for the tournament. Marking the "Going" on the Facebook Event Page does not secure your participation.

Health Guidelines

Anyone with direct Covid exposure within five days of the event is respectfully asked not to attend.

Parking

When parking in the cul-de-sac, please make sure not to block any driveways, mailboxes, etc. There is also plenty of parking near Somerset Park.

Food & Beverage

-Food and soft drinks will be provided. Players are encouraged to bring adult beverages to share.

Smoking

-No smoking of any kind is allowed at The Cooler.
