Did you know that toilet paper has been around since the 6th century? Before the advent of toilet paper, from at least 79 A.D. until the fall of the Roman empire, the Romans cleaned themselves with a tersorium (a type of sponge) after relieving themselves. It was made of a sea sponge on a stick and they would simply rinse it off and leave it for the next person. It wasn't until 1857 when an American inventor named Joseph Gayetty created the first mass-produced version of toilet paper. The first toilet paper was loose flat sheets of paper. Then in 1930, the Germans invented the perforated rolls we have today consisting of 1,000 small sheets that were separated by a perforation. In the 1960s, toilet paper came in different colors, especially in pink and green to match the bathroom hues. Participation & Confirmation

Once registration has opened, players will be asked to RSVP directly with Eventzilla. Once registered, you will receive an email confirmation and your name will be added to that month's roster. If your name does not appear on the list, you have not been officially registered. This event is invite only, no walk-ins. Before arrival, please check the event's Roster indicating that you have been confirmed for the tournament. Marking the "Going" on the Facebook Event Page does not secure your participation.

Cancellations & No-Shows

If you are unable to attend, please inform John Tae or Dan Son within 72 hours of the tournament. Any late notice or no-shows may result in a points penalty.

Health Guidelines

Anyone with direct Covid exposure within five days of the event is respectfully asked not to attend.

Parking at The Cooler

When parking in the cul-de-sac, please make sure not to block any driveways, mailboxes, etc. There is also plenty of parking near Somerset Park.

Food & Beverage

Part of the evenings proceeds will go towards the Rocket Beans, Soda and the "First Winner" prize. Players are encouraged to bring refreshments to share.
