The Baselayer Challenge is our toughest single day event set on some of the UK’s most iconic climbs. It follows the format of the Girona Baselayer Challenge - to ride all the climbs that feature on the Tactic Baselayer in one go and cross them out with a sharpie as you complete them. The Girona route is over 200kms!
The first edition of the Tactic UK Baselayer Challenge will take place on the 16th of July and has an equally epic route packed into 155km. It takes in some real gems of the Lake District, and not all of these are bergs. There’s some special roads that roll alongside lakes and through valleys.
But bergs there are.
The price of entry includes the limited edition baselayer that you will need for the challenge and the ride starts and finishes in Skelwith Bridge, near Ambleside.
By the time we finish, we will definitely have earnt that post ride beer!
