Updated date‼️
On Friday, May 29 at 19:00, as part of the fifth month [May] of the new season of “12 Months,” Library for Architecture will host Sherly Avedian, in collaboration with the month’s curator, Storaket Architectural Studio, for a book presentation and discussion exploring this month’s theme: “Values and Belongings.”

The selected book is “The Armenian Churches of Iran” by Sherly Avedian.

Today, 123 Armenian churches remain standing in Iran. These structures reflect not only religious heritage, but also a broader narrative of cultural endurance and transformation. The research and documentation on this architectural legacy have been brought together in this book, offering a comprehensive reading of its place within both regional and global cultural history.

During the presentation and discussion on the book and the preservation of Armenian churches in Iran, the author will share insights into their historical significance, architectural value, and their place within the broader discourse of world heritage.

Book language: Armenian, English

Discussion language: Armenian
