The walk will start at the Thames Barrier, an engineering marvel and one of the world's largest moveable flood defences. From the Barrier, we will head West along the Thames Path, one of the country's National Trails, as it winds it's way towards the Greenwich Peninsula where we will take a ride on the Emirates Cable Car, giving us stunning views of Canary Wharf and the rest of the city. After a short refreshment break, we will make our way from the Peninsula to end the walk in Greenwich, home to the Meridian line and the Royal Observatory.
