COURSE DESCRIPTION

The data and public remarks you collect and publish communicate the value of a property. This course is designed to maximize that value by helping you better understand the technical and emerging issues you need to address in your listings. We've broken this course into two parts: 1) The first part will help you better understand the technical components you describe in the typical multiple listing service fields such as building systems, energy efficiency and green fields (like the HERS Index Score). We'll cover emerging technologies not noted in the typical MLS and finish with a review of some zoning/urban planning issues you may encounter. 2) Our second part will provide an overview of architectural styles to give you some guidance on describing the style of a home, choosing MLS fields for style and dealing with houses that mix styles. This course content is designed to help you provide the best service for your clients. We welcome you to ask questions as we go.

Cancellation policy

All sales are final. Carefully review the date and location of the event for which you’re purchasing tickets before you complete the purchase. No refunds, exchanges or cancellations are available once your ticket purchase has been completed.

While we do not allow cancellation of tickets after you’ve purchased them, you may choose to give your ticket to another person. It is your responsibility to safeguard your ticket. If you give your ticket to another person, they must alert our staff at the event to let them know the ticket has been transferred. This is particularly important for any people who wish to use a transferred ticket and earn continuing education credit.

We may cancel an event at our sole discretion. We will provide as much notice as possible if a cancellation is necessary. We will provide a full refund to all ticket holders through the payment method you provided to purchase the ticket if we cancel an event. We will not issue a refund for service fees, transaction charges, convenience charges, delivery charges or other charges related to your purchase.

The Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) will not issue continuing education credit for a course you've already taken within the last twelve months. You may choose to take a course more than once in twelve months. If you wish to receive continuing education credit, please check the course code to be sure you're eligable under the rules of the GREC before you purchase a ticket. You can find the GREC course code in the course description above.

Ryan Taylor founded Ryan Taylor Architects, LLC (RTA) in 2002. We provide services for residential projects (renovations, additions + new construction) with a focus on health, comfort and efficiency. We also provide consulting services for zoning, building code compliance, permitting and other jurisdictional challenges. RTA’s work includes projects in the United States, the Caribbean and Africa. RTA became a real estate school and began offering our own education events for real estate professionals in 2019. Offering our own events rather than presenting topics for others allows us to develop courses based on your guidance – we get direct input from you though questions, evaluations, surveys and offline discussions. (Got an idea for a course? Let us know!)
