I started real estate investing in 2004 and made $10,000 on my first deal wholesaling an ugly house. As a former mortgage broker and accountant, I learned very early in my career how to structure financing. Working with mostly investors before I became one myself, I recognized that most of their interest lied in deals they could by cash or finance at a good price. For all the other deals, they would just walk away and forget about them.

In Dec 2013, I moved my family from Metuchen, NJ to Riverview, FL in the pursuit of warmer winters and more opportunity. Being unfamiliar with the market and having no connections here in Florida, I struggled at first to find my place in the Tampa Bay investor food-chain. It was after I successfully closed a few wholesale deals with other investors that I discovered a "Foxier" approach to wholesaling that has allowed me to do more deals than I could before. Becoming the Foxy Home Buyer, I've been able to build a business on deals most investors can't touch and purchase properties for big profits with very little risk.
