Beryl’s Principal Project Manager is Richard “Leo”n Cannyn, PMP, P.E. Cannyn earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology. He received a Master’s degree in Organizational Management/Psychology from the University of Phoenix. Cannyn holds a State of Florida license in Professional Engineering, Home Inspection, Liquor Distribution, a Project Management Institute certification as a Project Management Professional, a Envision Sustainability Professional Certification from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, an Infrared Certified Professional Designation from the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, is on the HUD FHA and 203k consultant rosters, and is a Certified Master Inspector through the Master Inspector Certification Board.
Cannyn brings sixteen years of experience in planning, implementing, and overseeing capital projects for condominiums, municipalities and state agencies. Notable projects included managing the contract administration of a 456 condominium restoration program, a $110 million water plant, and a $14 million dollar prison expansion performing visual inspections for civil, structural, mechanical and electrical systems. He has also performed 203k consultant responsibilities on over 60 rehabilitation projects.
