MAZU is welcoming our first Korean guest chefs! Join Clara and Sumi to hear about the beloved flavors of Korea and taste some of their favorite dishes (and listen to some K-pop!). This will be a four course menu:
- Starter: Seaweed pancake (parae jeon)
- Appetizer: Sweet potato glass noodle stir fry (japchae)
- Main: Mixed rice with vegetables and soybean paste soup (bibimbap & doenjang soup)
- Dessert: Watermelon punch (subak hwachae)
We will have 20 seats at $45 per person + tax. Clara and Sumi have decided to donate a portion of proceeds to two organizations close to them: OPAWL, which elevates progressive leadership of Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander women and nonbinary people in Ohio (Clara and Angie are members), and Kalawa Library and School Project in Kenya (which is run by Sumi's parents-in-law).
