Join multiple Surfski World Champion Sean Rice as he brings together his experience as a top international paddler and the lessons learned through coaching thousands of paddlers worldwide into a friendly, inclusive and professional day of learning. It's a guarantee that each paddler will come away from the day with a whole new field of paddling knowledge and a unforgettable experience of learning from one of the best!
Paddlers of ALL abilities are encouraged to join. If you're paddling already, just getting into the sport or already well tuned and looking for the finer details to improve, then this is for you! The group is limited to just 12 paddlers to ensure that everyone gets one-on-one experience and attention. If you're unsure of your ability, just let us know, and we can help guide your decision.
Don't have a surfski or kit? No problem, we will have a range of surfskis there to use, kindly provided by THINK and Nordic Kayaks. There is a small additional cost to use a boat for the day.
The workshop consists of a short bit of land-based practice, but the lesson is primarily water-based, as that's where the fun and learning experience is best!

Location: Hayling Island - Our incredible venue is just a 90-minute drive from London or a train ride to nearby Havant Station. The location offers a unique area of protected water in an estuary and access to more exposed open ocean conditions a short paddle away. Perfect conditions to learn about waves and surfing.
