Artist Ward Hooper will be here to talk with us about his life in New York City and Northport and his current exhibit: Sharing a Creative Life: Dolly & Ward Hooper. In addition to their collaborative work on many wonderful Northport Historical Society exhibits, Dolly and Ward’s energy extended to their individual creative mediums. Dolly designed wedding gowns and dolls and Ward, inspired by Northport’s natural beauty, developed a signature watercolor style. 24 of Ward’s paintings are on display as well as a sampling of Dolly’s designs. Refreshments will be served.
Free for members, $5 for non-members
