Dr. James Anderson is a practicing dentist and the CEO and Co-Founder of eAssist Dental Solutions. Dr. Anderson has started several successful businesses, including eAssist, the nation's leading platform for dental billing, and 9 dental practices in his home state of Utah. His purpose, echoed by the mission of eAssist, is to help dentists, their teams and their patients achieve peace of mind. In 2011, he co-founded eAssist Dental Solutions to allow dental practice owners to fully outsource their billing departments. The company now has over 2,000 customers and has recently been endorsed by the nation's largest dental association, California Dental Association, and in 2021 launched an exciting partnership with Henry Schein to continue driving forward eAssist’s mission. In 2020 Dr. Anderson was selected as Entrepreneur of the Year by Business View Magazine, listed in the top Entrepreneurs in the country by Entrepreneur Magazine and has led eAssist to 6 straight years on the Inc 5000 list. Dr. Anderson has received a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University, earned his D.M.D. from Oregon Health and Science University, and most recently graduated from the O.P.M. Penny Reed is the Chief Executive Officer of Practice Booster/eAssist Publishing, LLC. Penny began her career in IT with the Walmart Corporation and then was recruited by her own dentist to run his growing practice. Penny has over 29 years of experience as a speaker and dental business coach and has been designated a Leader in Dental Consulting by Dentistry Today from 2007 to present. She is a certified “Behavioral Consultant” through the Institute for Motivational Living, and a former Dale Carnegie Program trainer. Penny is the author of two books, Growing Your Dental Business and Persuade With A Case Acceptance Story. Penny runs the educational content division, known as eAssist Publishing/Practice Booster. Practice Booster® provides resources such as the Online (CDT) Code Advisor and also produces the publications, Coding With Confidence, Administration With Confidence, and Medical Dental Cross-Coding With Confidence. In addition to producing insurance administration and coding content, the Practice Booster team provides call center support as well as revenue enhancement services and has an advisory team to assist customers with Revenue Cycle Management training. Penny also oversees the educational platform Dental Zing, which provides on-demand practice management as well as dental billing and insurance administration courses. She also works closely with outside consultants through eAssist’s Consultant Network, to both promote the businesses of the outside consultants and nurture referrals for the eAssist Dental Solutions Platform.

Rob joined the eAssist team as the Chief Operating Officer in April 2022. Rob most recently served as Co-Founder and CEO of Espire Dental, a 20 location dental group known across the country for its patient experience and world-class culture. Prior to founding Espire, Rob served as VP of Dental Services for ClearChoice Dental Implants, the nation's leading provider of full arch dental prosthetics with 85 ambulatory surgical centers in the US. Prior to moving to Denver, Rob was SVP of SmileAmerica, providing dental care to children and underserved populations in urban and rural areas in 22 states. From 2004 to 2010, Rob co-founded Dental Growth Partners, serving 17 Endodontic, Periodontic, and oral surgery practices in the New England area. Rob is a former Business Consulting Manager with Arthur Andersen in San Francisco, where he supervised audits for Catholic Healthcare West and the Stanford University Health Center. Rob received his MBA from Boston University and his BS from Brigham Young University in 1995. Rob currently lives in Denver with his wife and five children.

Dr. Jim is grateful for the opportunity to help the eAssist family grow and thrive. He is a dentist whose older daughter gets married this Fall, son just graduated from college and younger daughter is entering her senior year in college. His family enjoys raising Seeing Eye puppies from eight weeks old until they are 18 months old and become the eyes for their “forever person.” Dr. Jim holds a dental and master’s degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his General Practice Residency and opened a solo general dentistry office while researching and implementing advanced dental technologies and procedures. Dr. Jim has worked in the insurance industry for over a decade and in 2018, passed the exam to become a Certified Dental Consultant. He has been busy inventing, obtaining US Patents, training dental professionals, publishing, and lecturing. Dr. Jim has been a Dentrix, Schick, and CEREC trainer and has given CE courses to dental professionals, corporate sales representatives, and students in the US, England, Finland, Germany, Japan, Mexico, and Poland. He has held positions in corporate dentistry as the NA Medical Director for GSK, new product development, professional marketing, education, training, professional relations and as the director of clinical affairs

Nina has been with eAssist since July 2019. She started in the dental field in 2000, starting as a dental assistant in a specialty practice and working her way up to managing several practices. While with eAssist, Nina started as a SC, worked as a Launch Specialist, a Team Leader and May of 2021 moved into a Regional Leader role. Nina's passion is in motivating her team through positivity and helping them overcome roadblocks. Nina has two boys, Tavin and Ryder who keep her busy with baseball, basketball, track and bike riding.
