Stretching with Michael
Description: These 20-25 minute classes are designed to be accessible and Michael continually encourages people to modify their practice in ways that work best for their own bodies. We focus on simple stretches that help open up tight muscles, especially those that get tense from sitting in chairs, holding cell phones and typing on computers.
Michael’s instruction guides you to bring your attention into your body and your breath, so we get a few minutes together each week to get out of our heads a bit. We finish each class in rest pose, so if your favorite part is laying on the floor and chilling out, it’s there for you!
Equipment: No special equipment is needed – it’s helpful to have a mat or rug on the floor, with enough space to lay down. A towel or blanket can be handy to have nearby if you need extra padding, but not necessary.
